gogol bordello's new album, trans-continental hustle, came out yesterday! i haven't had the chance to listen to all of it yet, but i love em'.... and if you love em', you love em'.
eugene hütz of gogol bordello wrote an intro on their myspace back in 2003 that is definitely worth reading.. and sharing.
"With our music, and music that we popularize, we try to reach out and remind people that, when taken out of the hands of a parasite, music is still a great lead into a democratic atmosphere of chaos, where moments of great freedom and where great friends could be found. And that in the world of rapidly dissolving authentic cultures, soul-searching through the music is something that connects you with the most authentic thing there - your savage heart."
... i love em'. you can read the rest of the intro here.
check out this video of them performing the first track off the album, "pala tute."

You really like the foot stompin music. Easy to tell you on from the east coast. Type of music good for a kitchen party.
